Description
WW1 Australian ANZAC uniform Gallipoli 1915 for hire
A typical Aussie “uniform” at the ill fated Gallipoli campaign, never afraid to bend the rules a little, this Aussie Digger has discarded his tunic in favour of shirt sleeves, the majority of his webbing is absent, with only p08 bandolier being apparent, his slouch hat has been pulled down flat for protection from the sun and his serge breeches have been cut into a pair of shorts. Gradually even this basic uniform would be stripped down, earning the Aussies the nickname “The Naked Australians”
