Bespoke Tailoring Services by The History Bunker

Although we hold a large stock of uniforms our standard sizes may not always be small enough or big enough for our customers, therefore we offer a bespoke tailoring service for the most, but not all, of our clothing.

Upon contacting us with a request for a bespoke uniform, the procedure is as follows –

  • Natalie of The History Bunker working on some WW1 tunics

  • You can either visit us in person for a fitting of we can email you a measurement chart to complete
  • You can have the measurements taking locally by a tailor  or take them yourself
  • Upon completion of the measurements please let us know  if the sizes are body or garment
  • We are more than happy to give any advice on measurements

What we mean by body or garment sizes is, are the measurements you have given taken from your body or are they the measurements you actually want the garment making to?

Tailoring times and Payment

As we are one of the few companies in this field offering bespoke uniforms we are extremely busy and thus completion times vary, we ask our customers to please bear with us and assure you that your uniform is in our tailoring schedule and it will be completed.

Upon being contacted by you, as well as emailing a size chart, we will also send an invoice for the items plus shipping.

Tailoring times are APPROX 8 weeks depending on our workload

Rest assured your garment will be tailored as fast as we can work

Garments will be shipped by courier, usually DHL or Fedex
